plucky Hmmm, I know some core routines that will make a grown man cry in 15 minutes or less ;) The problem is trying to describe them without pics or video... Let me see if I can come up with something tip or blog worthy.

LadyLisa Thanks plucky...what about the Abs question do you have any good Abs routinues I can let him know about.

Thanks your awesome! And yeah I will have lots to occupy the habitual part of of not smoking without that smoke in my hand all the time I will have to force myself to start doing so many things I love to do but never do anymore...

plucky First of all, congrats on kicking that bad habit and supporting others doing the same thing! I can say that once your system gets over the addiction part, you still have to find a way to channel the habitual part...

As far as my advice on pain, I would suggest that knowing your body is important in order to recognize minor pain from major pain. Anything more than a minor pain is a warning sign, especially pain that is unfamiliar. I would suggest a doctor visit to discuss pain in the lungs... just to be safe.

LadyLisa Plucky I have someone on my quit smoking website in a group I created Keep Fit and Keep Quit and he was getting back into running and asked a question no one was able to answer for him because there are only 3 people in the group so far and no of us are advanced in running enough know this is his exact words ---- "hi new to this club and renewing myself to running after 20 some odd years of smoking..., is it normal to feel pain in the top of your lungs when you start getting into the run mode again??..., it goes away pretty quick after i stop running but it feels like my lungs don't know what to do with all the air i'm sucking in while trying to jog...,
also i know there are a billion ab workouts out there, does anyone have a TRULY effective ab workout? i noticed recently that all of my pants have shrunk abit in the waist line..., i can't explain it.., must be global warming --thanks thorndragon"

LadyLisa plucky I need your help my running team needs runners i may be able to find people right away but there's only 4 weeks left if they need a training routine to get them up to par in a short time for a 5k and a 10k is this possible?
LadyLisa on 5/1/2008

plucky Yeah, the Rock 'n Roll San Jose 1/2 Marathon last October. Will be doing it again this year, and I keep threatening a full marathon this year too :O Thank you and the actual time was about 1:45 since I started a couple of sections back from the start line... Good luck on the 5K, you will have a blast.

Carina Thanks for the add, Paul! Was that a 1/2 marathon you're running in your profile pic? Great time and congrats on reaching the finish line. Makes my upcoming first 5K a breeze! :)

James42 Thank you sir! I train my legs like crazy (I have to for my program) but I also love training them to keep my body balanced and have yet to have any knee. or serious joint injuries! For some reason I have terrible trouble putting on mass on my legs! It drives me nuts since I try to train them furiously
