I am a friendly, witty, and slightly sarcastic guy who enjoys life. I've been working out consistently for just about 20 years now and believe I can teach anyone to look defined year-round. My fitness site is my passion when I'm not working or playing.

My angle is that I believe too much muscle is "cheesy looking". Yep...most bodybuilding sites take exception to my entire site, but I enjoy that. The "big muscle" look is way out of style and my goal with my site is for people to focus on the "Hollywood Look" instead. I have readers from 127 countries and counting, many who contribute to my blog on a daily basis. The "Big Muscle" look is dying a slow death...I'm just trying to put it out of its misery!

Favorite Activities
I enjoy any non athletic sport where I can simultaneously enjoy a cold beer while playing...like ping pong, frisbee golf, croquette, bocce ball, etc. I like to sweat in the gym, but take it easy out in the "real world". I like hanging with a dozen like minded people on a sunny day at a park or beach, with plenty of good food and beer.

Gym Pet Peeves (what annoys you at the gym?)
Oh this is going to be fun!
1) "crotch defining" spandex pants
2) dropping dumbbells in between sets
3) grunting or other "disturbing" noises
4) sour milk scented body odor from lack of showering
5) rapping or singing loudly while listening to Ipods
6) posing in the mirror in between sets
7) doing sets in front of dumbbell rack
8) walking with the "lat spread"
9) walking away from equipment in between reps
10) not putting weights away
11) the "free advice guy" who is in terrible shape
12) the "I used to bench 400 pounds in high school" guy
13) excess drama before or after a "heavy set"
14) the "Lift Big or Go Home" cut tank tops
15) the "i make noise cause it's hardcore" guys
