Ingredients
1 can chickpeas (or garbanzo beans, or chi-chi beans, it's all the same!)
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp minced garlic


Instructions
Blend or food-process chickpeas along with 1/4 cup of the liquid from the can, lemon juice, and garlic. That's it!

Now for a serving suggestion: spread onto a whole-wheat pita and top with shredded carrots, sliced olives, grilled eggplant, and roasted red peppers for a delicious and healthy appetizer or light snack.
