Nutrition Facts
Extras: Lemongrass is not great for its flavor alone, but according to a recent study by the Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology, every 100g of edible lemongrass when boiled can contain up to 24.205 micrograms of beta-carotene. Here are just some of its many health benefits that have been observed:
• Relieves stress and insomnia
• A good detoxifier that cleanses the liver, pancreas, kidney, bladder and the digestive tract.
• Cuts down cholesterol, excess fats & other toxins while stimulating digestion & blood circulation
• Acts as a muscle and tissue toner
