If you take a closer look there is actually no rotation of the lumbar spine, or the thorasic spine for that matter. Apart from lumbar stabilization, most of the emphasis is actually on shoulder stabilization.

It's perfectly safe for anyone wanting to take their workouts to the next level. I posted it on this site because this site is designed for people who are interested in being fit and learning ways to do that in a more efficient and effective manner.
