Massage - Rubbing you the right way

Using Massage
Massage can be a great addition to your training routine, but make sure you get the right kind of massage. Somebody who specializes in sports massage is probably your best bet. Avoid getting a deep tissue massage the day before an event, or you may be too sore to do your best. And self- massage is better than no massage.

This is the year of "firsts" for me: first 5K, first motorcycle riding course, first time standing up in a wedding....
And I just got my very first massage and facial yesterday! It was great and I can't wait to go back. :)

I've never had a facial or a professional massage, although they offer them on site after the 12K and my friend and I are seriously considering it!! Good for you for going all out this year, doing things you've never tried before! It's bound to be a memorable year.

And I thought I was the only one who's never had a massage before! :) It's soooo relaxing.... you and your friend should go for it, especially after the 12K. Good luck tomorrow!
