Using Massage Massage can be a great addition to your training routine, but make sure you get the right kind of massage. Somebody who specializes in sports massage is probably your best bet. Avoid getting a deep tissue massage the day before an event, or you may be too sore to do your best. And self- massage is better than no massage.
