pyramid bench workout

Have never seen this workout in any magazine or anyone else I have talked to have never done a bench routine like this before. For the mast majority of ppl who have stuck to it for least a month they have gained massive strength on their bench along with rep power.

This is what you do you do your typical warm up set. Then work your way up to your max weight only doin 1-2 reps per set on your way up. Go up basically like 20-25 pounds per set till your getting real heavy then incriments of 5-10 pounds will suffice. After you get to your one rep max start stripping the weight off 20 pounds at a time an repping each set as many as possible. you not only get your heavy lifting in you then turn around and get all your reps in. Might not work for some but others love it. Lease its something different you can try once in a while.

My personal pyramid
(UP The Pyramid)
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 2
275 x 1
315 x 1
365 x 1
405 x 1
(DOWN The Pyramid)
365 x 2
315 x 5-7
275 x 10
225 x 15-20

By the time your done you can basically call it a day as you will be shot to death with fatigue an just wanting to go home!!
