Maximizing Tricep Work -

As a Trainer I see alot of people who do exercises incorrectly.  When doing Tricep push-downs with the V- bar always make sure to keep your elbows in tight and not flaring out to the side when going through the movement. Also switch it up and use the rope sometimes because you can get a good squeeze to the tricep at the bottom.  Keep elbows in tight to work the triceps better.
