Bench Press : Tip

on 3/6/2009 by BIGDAWGWALK | filed in: Strength Training
If you are strong in your Triceps take a slight narrow grip for better strength, However if you are somewhat weak in your Triceps go out a little bit wider with your grip.  The Wider your grip, the less travel the bar has to move up..Remember to keep your feet flat on the floor and push through your heels during your lift. Make sure the bar is not bent, before adding weight roll the bar on the bar on the floor.  A bent bar will decrease the weight that you will be able to lift.
