So I've been working out for a little over half a year now, and it's been going pretty good. I've definately gotten a lot stronger. I've been doing pretty good about watching what I eat too. The only problem is that a couple of months ago I decided to start bulking up a bit because I want to be bigger, not just stronger and healthier. So my body fat percentage keeps getting higher. I'm somewhere around 17 or 18% and climbing. I was trying to jump rope everyday, but I haven't been able to stick with it. So I'm getting ready to buy either a tread climber or an elliptical, but I can't decide which one to get. The tread climber advertises that it burns more calories than a treadmill. The elliptical advertises that it's easier on your joints. Of the two models I can afford, the tread climber costs about $700 more, but it sounds more confident about burning calories. Any opinions?

I got the chance to try the lower priced treadclimber and peronally its a piece of crap, it felt uncomfortable just did not like it. As for Cardio next to the best Cardio machine ever designed for fat loss and muscle tone The Versa Climber the Elliptical comes in second.

At your age, motivation and great work ethics I would buy the tread climber and burn more calories, etc. GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!
