I have maintained a regular workout routine for the last year. I carefully watch what I eat and drink, snacking mostly on fresh fruits and vegetables, drinking mostly water. I no longer drink regular soda and even keep the diet soda to a minimum. I also concentrate on sugar free and lowfat items for the majority of my meals and snacks. However, despite all this, I am still waiting to see my lingering belly fat and love handles burn off. I have never been overweight and in fact have been very thin for most of my life. I'm 39 and determined to get myself into the best shape I have ever been. In the course of my workout routine, I do plenty of abs work and have recently begun concentrating on my lower abs and obliques specifically as well. What else can I do to burn away the unwanted fat just above my waist line?
