From time to time I have to take tylenol PM to get to sleep. Mainly because I'm nocturnal and things come up where I have to be up in the morning (sadly tomorrow is one of those days). I just popped some tylenol PMs about 25 minutes ago and I'm still not feeling much effect.
So I'm wondering, can you become immune to tylenol PM over time even if you're not taking it every night?

Yes, you csan. I expirience that myself :( the doctor said that the body got used to it so it would take longer for my body to react to it. It used to knocked me out within minutes and later on it was like an hour. There is this website call dragonherbs.com who have a lot of natural pills who works wonders. They are natural and base on chinesse medicine. I highly recommend their sleeping pills and also 'tao in a bottle'. If you like tea, you can try chamomille, around 3 cups and half an hour does it for me. Or 'sleepy bear' tea find at any supermarket.

actually i think i heard somewhere that tylenol actually reduces protein synthesis so i wouldnt take it every night if i were you. i have trouble getting sleep sometimes too and i take a supplement called shut-eye by fusion fitness and it is designed for bodybuilders and works really well. you dont even wake up groggy at all either. i would take that if you were going to take anything

well just like any prescribed medication your body will become immune to it over time and the user will feel/ learn over time that the prescription isn't as effective.
most medications ( antibiotics) also cause more long term harm to ones body leaving its best buddy candida behind.
a rule of thumb when your taking any anti biotics do a clense ( or eat foods thats would scrub it out the old fashion natural way) to flush out the left over yeast. - ChevyC10

I would say Yes, that if you are taking it regularly that it will not work as well. Maybe you should try something like melatoin or valerian. There are alot of natural remedies out there that do not have the same "addictive' properties.
