Correct portion size is critical when losing weight or gaining muscle. Know your body and what portion size you should eat at each meal.

Hi All,
With the Holidays coming up knowing which foods to eat is important. I found this video to be quite informative and hope you do too.

I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for 5 1/2 years, and in the last couple months, realized I am lactose-intolerant. Since making substantial changes and cutting out foods that make me sick, I do feel a lot better. I absolutely loved dairy products and it's been soo hard. I found a brand of soy cheese slices that I don't think tastes like crap, and have switched to drinking soy milk in my coffee and tea rather than cream or flavored coffee whiteners. Those(Creama or International Delight) were almost worse than real cream).
Other areas of my diet are an ongoing project to overhaul. But I'm working on it. ;)

EAT CLEAN!
I don't diet.....I change my selections. You can have bread....just buy whole grain and limit it. You can have burgers.....turkey burgers. You can eat eggs....pop out the yolks. You can eat peanut butter....natural peanut butter.
Dieting never works because eventually you will "come off of it."
Instead try making healthy substitutions so you NEVER feel like you are "ripping yourself off".
If you have a sweet tooth....eat a protein bar! Try EAS smores! They have 30g of protein and taste like a candy bar! The chocolate cream powder protein mix from EAS is wonderful too! I mix 1 scoop powder, 10 ice cubes, and 8 oz. skim milk. Put all this in a blender and drink it like a chocolate milkshake! YUMMY! It actually tastes like chocolate cake batter!
I follow The eat-clean plan by Tosca Reno! Her guides and books are awesome!
Seriously the biggest help for people that have a tough time staying focused on getting "ripped"!
They have a version for everyone....and just out a "special version" for dudes! YAY!

Good one girl! you are so right although to add make sure of the ingredients as I am a fanatic for the real thing EAS like others use Sucralose ( aka Splenda ) this is a Chemically altered Sugar Molecule ( why not just use the real thing we know from centuries of use that sugar with activity is not bad for you, but what do we know of long term effects of Irradiated food or Genetically modified food or chemically altered molecules created in a lab) I just feel if Health and Fitness is a concern then why subject your health to bad influences just for the sake of Fitness.
But overall you are so right Just Eat Clean ( oh you can add Lamb Burgers to that, list they are awesome lol)
