Preparation Show Picture
Lie on bench, facing up. The barbell should be aligned with your chest. Grasp the barbell with a narrow, overhand grip. Unrack the barbell to begin.


Step 1  Show Picture
Bending at the elbow, slowly lower the barbell until it barely touches your chest.


Step 2 Show Picture
Straighten your arms, pushing the barbell straight up.


Extra Notes
Try to keep your elbows in throughout the exercise.
