Caffienated Potato Chips from Golden Flake - WTF?

Caffienated Potato Chips from Golden Flake - WTF? Caffienated potato chips is one of the most peculiar foods/supplements I've ever found. I guess the caffiene-enhanced chips are a food, but the idea to market such a thing is right up a dietary supplement company's alley.

Only in America could you mix Energy with a popular couch food, but a company named Golden Flake has managed to do just that. Are people missing some of their favorite television shows because they're passing out after about 3 hours on the couch? I guess these caffienated potato chips are the answer to someone with that problem.

Each 3.5 ounce bag of these caffiene chips contain the same amount of caffiene as 3.5 cups of coffee. I thought that was pretty surprising. How do they pack so much caffiene in a bag of chips?

The energy chips also contain Taurine and B-vitamins to help give you an even bigger burst of energy. My guess is that these chips were meant to go perfectly with a few video games and a 2-liter bottle of mountain dew.

this is a very shocking mix i will say. it seems incredibly unnecessary. y not just drink a shake for energy instead of eating a bag of chips. it like 1 step forward but 4 steps back

yea, it's a confusing step to me.... Usually chip eaters aren't looking for energy.

That's a huge WTF Ryan! I don't even know where to start. I wish this was a joke, but sadly I know it's not. This damn country has no shame whatsoever! Now we're catering to the couch potatoes just to make an extra buck and perpetuate the obesity problem in America. God forbid they fall asleep and stop eating and more importantly to big business - stop spending money!

Haha, agreed.. I had to look in to it a bit to make sure it wasn't a joke.. And nope, it's not.

That sounds gross to me. They are taking junk food and making it more full of garbage than ever! I'm with you on this. This can't be a good idea. Homer Simpson would LOVE these, I'm sure!!
