One Rep Max Back Squat

One Rep Max Back Squat    CrossFit was phenomenal today. Well, it's always phenomenal but today was especially rewarding for me. January was back squat month. I worked to find my one rep max back squat; meaning you can do it one time only and your spent. I topped out at 98 lbs. I worked on it for the entire month and today retested myself. I comfortably back squatted 103 lbs. Now, five lbs may not seem like a lot, but it is! There is nothing like beating your own personal record. It is a true testament to the truth that hard work pays off. It is also a true testament to CrossFit. Small gains are huge in the world of CrossFit and this only encourages me to continue to strive for improvement.
