Caffiene and other stimulants tap into the body's 'fight or flight' adrenal system. Right off I'd suggest switching to Yerba Mate, better nutritionally and a more mellow energy boost.
There are some antioxidants in coffee (but also plenty of antioxidant rich juices that aren't caffienated) and caffiene has positive associations with things like concentration, test-taking skill etc. (as you would expect from a central-nervous-system stimulant).
But it is also an addictive drug and one of the tools that people use to forgo necessary sleep (article yesterday says the sleep-deprived are 3X more likely to catch a cold than the non-sleep deprived). Also quite acidic. It's fine for many in moderation but the wrong fuel for the fire for many others.
