First let me add I'm not superstitious ( well, we all are perhaps a little ) !!
I've just recently gotten back into dancing after several years of not dancing, etc. So I just got this fortune cookie that says "Dance like no one is looking". I'm a pretty good dancer, not an expert by any means but lets say better than the "average" man !! Not stiff and I go with the rythym well. For years all I've received in fortune cookies is the same "stuff", "junk" !! Interesting that I get this fortune cookie at this time isn't it !!
So I'm just curious if any else has ever received a fortune cookie that seemed accurate or coincidently timed ??
I'm not sure how I will "Dance like no one is looking" but I will give it some thought and perhaps laugh looking into a mirror.
Dancing is great exercise !! Different muscles than we normally use.
Thanks for reading and any comments are very much appreciated !!!!!!!... read more

A recent survey concluded that February is/was the largest month for relationship breakups. The survey is one of the reasons I wrote two blogs on (Women have nightmares, Men dream of sex & Intimacy is more than SEX) . The survey suggested perhaps men where not in touch with what their mate was expecting for Valentines Day and perhaps women expected too much romance, etc. Myself, (being a man) I believe the women were more correct . So, inconclusion I would suggest both sexes do a better job of communicating this year. Good luck !!
Love life / live life / pass it on !!!!

I am often encouraging people to mix it up and shock your muscles in a different way. The purpose of this blog is to encourage and challenge fitsters to try something radically different or new. Don't get in a rut and do the same weightlifting routine, same run, same cycle class, etc. Break out and try something new you have thought about and have put it off for one reason or another. Certainly there is a myriad (numerous) activities that don't cost money and will benefit you physically and mentally. Give it some serious thought, read about it or ask someone who is doing it now that has some experience.
Remember the "Favorite Fitness Activities" segment on the original sign up form for this Fitconnect.com site, check it out again and see what you may be missing. Again, I challenge you to " try something new " !!!!
Good Luck and of course " just do it " !!... read more
