Still Working Toward My Goal!

Hope all of you are maintaining a good fitness routine through this trying time of the year!! I've noticed that my health club has been very sparsly populated these days. No big surprise. People are running around looking for last minute gifts or are traveling somewhere no doubt.
Personally, I have been keeping one eye on the carrot at the end of the stick. I keep reminding myself that I compete in March. March is really not that far off! I engage in self-talk (in my head so people don't think I've totally lost it) about not allowing myself to let go of all that I've worked so hard to attain. It's keeping me on track. I know I will have to work twice as hard if I let myself fall into any bad patterns. That goes for the diet too!
I hope all of you out there have a carrot at the end of a stick. Something to keep you reaching and working hard. That goal that will help you make good diet choices during the next couple of months. It could be that you want to look good in a bikini, or fit into pants one size smaller. It may be your cholesterol is too high. Find a reason to keep on track and ave a happy and healthy holiday season!!
