About Me

i'm Italian, moved to USA in August 2006.
I'm a PhD student in Computer Science @ Florida State University, Tallahassee FL

I lived most of my life in Italy, just for a short time in Germany and then for 1 year i lived in the gray rainy sad U.K. Then moved to Sunshine State cuz could take no more of the cold, rain and clouds!!
After a bachelor and a master degree in Biomedical Engineering (in italy), i finally realized that Biomedical stuff is not really my "cup of tea" so 8 days after the master graduation i changed country, work field, life.. (it took me 8 days because that was needed for the huge book burning). Moved to Computer Science, and did never regret at all. First i worked for 1 year for Vodafone U.K., then started a PhD in Computer Science at Florida State.

I use to spend more time in gyms, stadium tracks, swimming pools, yoga mat and such than in my living room (reason: i get bored in the living room).
The sport i enjoyed the most was Athletics, specifically pole vault (3 broken bones were well worth).

As for the language, I learned enough to have a simple conversation, with some use of my dictionary, but I learned how to order foods quickly .. i especially miss the markets for buying meats and produce. i loved shopping on the weekend in the market. It has been 4yes since I have been here, so I lost a lot of it. Where are you from, I did travel a good amount through central and northern Italy but nothing in the southern region(which I am sad I missed out on) ”
